Obituary for Magaret Tracy

Margaret T. Tracy, 76 of Kelso, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on March 21, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri daughter of Phillip and Cecelia Teahan Staebel. She and Gary Tracy Sr were united in marriage on January 28, 1960 and he passed away in 1965.

Margaret joined the United States Navy in 1959 when she graduated high school. She met her husband Gary who was serving in the United States Marines. She worked for Southwestern Bell, Missouri Utilities, and Southeast Hospital until her retirement. She loved working in the outdoors, gardening and delivering meals on wheels for years.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Margie) Tracy Jr of Jackson, Missouri; daughter Cindy (Tony) Ignacio of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister Rosemary (Howard) Meek of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband Gary Sr, and parents.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

There will be no services conducted.
