Lindell Franklin “Bud” James, age 73, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born February 5, 1936 at Mayfield, MO, son of Dave and Oma Jones James. He and Mary Sterns were married October 30, 1960.
He had worked on the street department for the City of Jackson, MO.
Survivors include; his wife, Mary of Marble Hill, one son, Paul James of Marble Hill; one brother Jim James of Jackson, MO; five sisters, Lucille Garland, Edna Cook both of Marble Hill, Nettie Jacobs of Cape Girardeau, Norma “Dean” Proffer of Fruitland, MO; Linda “Toad” Bazzell of Jackson, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death was his parents, two brothers, Jack and Glen, and three sisters, an infant, Louise Hahs, Nellie Yount.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 after 4:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene McIntosh and Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Pulliam Cemetery.
