Honoring a Unique Life

We know that every family we serve is unique, and we strive to make each service a personal tribute to the life that has been lived. We provide a wide variety of choices that will help fulfill a family's wishes, from a traditional funeral to a personalized service that celebrates a loved one's hobbies and interests.

Here are some of the suggestions on personalizing the funeral or memorial service. Just tell us what you want, and we'll do our very best to make it happen.

Music We'll Arrange to have a favorite song played during the service or favorite CDs played as a background music during the visitation or gathering. If it's in iTunes, we'll get it for you or you may bring in your CDs.

Candles We provide a 72 hour personalized candle with special themes including the photo of your loved one.

Balloons A bouquet of bright, colorful balloons can be released at the end of the outdoor gatherings.

DVD Video Tribute Bring in the photographs, and we'll create a beautiful DVD tribute for your family. Extra copies for other family members are a thoughtful gesture.

Military honors We can arrange to have military honors present at the committal, funeral, or memorial service, including Taps.

Clothing Dad always wore overalls and never a suit, or mom always wore pink? Don't be afraid to use clothing for the deceased that is appropriate for them. We ask that clothing be the correct size or larger and at Liley's we always FULLY dress the deceased.

Photo Displays Bring in framed photographs to display around the room and scrapbooks and photo albums for the tables. Photo galleries are available to display loose snapshots.

Memento Displays Those special collections, handmade items, or other special things can be displayed in the visitation/gathering room. We've displayed Previous Moments collections, handmade quilts baseball card collections, fishing poles, golf clubs, and Cardinal baseball jerseys.

Merchandise Personalization Many caskets have special personalization options including interior embroidery, Life Symbols corners, Life Stories Medallions, and Memory Sales. Likewise, urns can be personalized with engraved names, dates, verses and photographs.

Printed Items There are several different register books that are available to reflect the life of the deceased.

Items in the Casket Many families place meaningful items in the casket to be buried or cremated with the deceased. Perhaps pictures of the grandchildren or a desk of playing cards would be appropriate or covering mom up with her favorite afghan.

Motorcycle Hearse For the motorcycle enthusiast, we can secure a motorcycle hearse from Last Ride Motorcycle Hearse CO. to make that last mile of the way more meaningful.

Horse Drawn Hearse We can arrange to have a horse drawn hearse

Monument Let Liley Monument Works help you design the perfect monument to your loved one's life. A picture, favorite saying, scripture, engraved scene, or even the date of marriage conveys to future generations the meaning of the person's life.
