Condolences

Condolence From: Daniel Sorbel Jr.
Condolence: I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. It’s very comforting to know what the Bible says about ones we’ve lost in death. Verses like Acts 24:15 are an excellent example of this: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Knowing God’s promise that we’ll be reunited with our loved ones who have died is a promise that I hold dear to me. (John 5:28, 29) I know God’s Word can bring you hope & comfort too.

Condolence: I was a friend and co-worker with Robert at the city of Crestwood Community Center for over 20 years. He was a kind and caring person and well liked by all. We will all miss him and say a prayer for him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Condolence From: Jennifer Meyer-Duchek
Condolence: My husband and I have known Robert for about 18 years. We did our workouts at Crestwood Community Center in the evenings years ago. Whenever I came up with the kids, he would always laugh and joke with them. No matter what I came to the community center for, my first step was the front desk to see Robert and talk with him for a while. He always remembered my birthday and how old I was because he really engaged with people. We are so saddened to hear of his passing and that he didn't get to enjoy the retirement he was looking forward to. We talked about it often in more recent months. Robert's humor and personable spirit will be missed at Crestwood Community Center. God Bless and RIP Robert.

Condolence: I worked with Robert for many years at the Crestwood Community Center and I'm so sorry to hear about his death just before retirement. I have so many fond memories of playing racquetball with Robert when we were both younger, great conversations and being friends as well as co-workers. My sincere condolences to Robert's family.

Condolence: I was so surprised and sad to hear about Robert’s passing. He had become a friend to me and many of the pickleballers. I enjoyed joking and kidding around with him. He took very good care of us keeping the courts safe so we were not slipping and falling. And he always did it with a smile! I’m so sorry he did not get to enjoy his retirement. He were planning to come back and visit with us after you retired—we joked with him that he would have to start playing pickleball with us. Robert, you will be missed. My condolences to Robert’s family.

Condolence From: Janet and Jason Collier
Condolence: We are in Crestwood, MO and knew Robert from the Whitecliff Community Center where we play volleyball every Monday night. Rob was a constant presence to all of us in the league, and became a good friend to many of us that have played there for years. We are all very deeply saddened by his passing. He spoke often of his plans of retiring after working hard for so many years, and having more time to enjoy life outside of work. He will be sincerely missed.
