Our Story
Liley Funeral Homes has provided personal Funeral and Cremation services to the residents of Bollinger County and surrounding communities since 1950. They have two full service locations: 410 Union Street in Marble Hill, Missouri and Highway 72 & 51 in Patton, Missouri to better serve this community.
Kenneth Liley has been a licensed Funeral Director and licensed Embalmer since 1960 following graduation from the John A. Gupton Mortuary College in Nashville, TN. Ken started in funeral service March 4, 1954 while he was a junior in high school for Gene Ward at the Ward Funeral Home, which is now Liley Funeral Homes.
Judy M. Liley has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1979. It was in 1979 that Kenneth and Judy were offered the opportunity to buy the Ward Funeral Home from the Gene Ward family. Shortly thereafter, an additional facility was built in Patton, and the name of the business was changed to Liley Funeral Homes.
Michael Liley is the youngest Liley son and he has one son Austin Michael Liley born in 2002. Mike has been a licensed Funeral Director and a licensed Embalmer since 1992 and presently manages the day to day operations of the business. He has an associate’s degree in Mortuary Science, he’s a graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Louisville, KY and has an associate’s degree in Data Processing and Business Management with an emphasis in accounting.
Ivan Statler, joined our staff in 2014. He has an associate’s degree in Mortuary Science, he’s a 1972 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Louisville, KY and is a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director.
Other Liley Funeral Homes staff consists of: Jenny Jones Secretary/Bookkeeper; Darlene Matthews, Janice Sitze, Rev. Fred Ritter, and Rev. Randy and Beth Shrum as Funeral Home Attendants.
